About

Hello,

In the early 2000's I started sharing my self-portraiture on various social media platforms. Flickr being the main platform, during those years most of the pictures were done through experimentation with different mediums.

Photoshop, film (Polaroid and Instax) it was a lot of fun learning new technique and basically dressing up to create characters from all types of things that inspired me. Fairytales, novels and poetry from my childhood, movies that stuck with me and I never got over.

I was also finding myself in those days having gone through my first struggles with depression and psychosis. I used this outlet as a tool to forget my daily struggles. Personally, I found this strange and often times looked down upon form of photography to be helpful in creating things I wanted to create, I prefer to create things alone and by myself.

I never like to call myself a photographer because I am self taught and still don't understand the technical aspects of photography and using cameras. I've learned some things, I do love light, painting with light and I also love the artistic ghostliness it creates.

I am still considering it to be a learning process.

I do love the use of the camera as a tool for capturing moments, I have always want(ed) those moments to be up for interpretation by you, not me.

I want you to imagine the story behind it.

I've tried all types of creative outlets (painting, drawing) but I do always come back to this.

Thank you for reading and viewing my pictures.
